January 2009 Canada trip of Martin Jay Grumet

Here are photographs from my January 2009 trip to the Yukon and
Northwest Territories. January 12, 2009 I flew from Boise to Whitehorse via
Seattle and Vancouver. January 21, 2009 I returned to Boise. From Whitehorse I
took a side trip on Air North to Inuvik, Northwest Territories and to Dawson
City, Yukon Territory. The flight from Whitehorse to Inuvik had stops at
Dawson City and Old Crow, Yukon Territory. Passengers deplane and reboard
during those stops.
All photographs were taken with a Nikon D60 digital single lens reflex camera.
Most were taken with a Nikkor AF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G IF-ED VR II DX.
For a few I used a Nikkor AF 28mm f/2.8D.
I used a Lowepro TLZ 2 case and chemical handwarmer heat packs. I made a lot of use
of a SLIK Sprint Pro tripod.
To make downloading time tolerable for dialup I have split the pictures among
seven pages. Each page displays pictures that are 450 pixels in length.
Clicking on the 450 pixel photo will bring up a version that is 1500 pixels
long.
